FAQS

Question 1:

What are my alternatives for caring for my elderly parents and their associated cost?

Answer:

Depending on the level of care your parents need, assisted living facilities, skilled facilities, residential care home, Alzheimer/dementia/memory care facilities, PCA agencies and independent contractor caregivers. Using HomeCare by M&D, LLC typically cost 3, 4 even 5 times LESS than facilities and care homes. Hiring an independent contractor caregiver on the surface seems less costly but factor in bond, liability insurance, your responsibility for reporting and remitting state, federal, and FICA taxes are just hard currency. How do you attach a cost to your time to hire, investigate, and even train a caregiver? What if a caregiver steals from you, gets sick and God forbid gets injured while caring for your parents in their home? Will your home insurance pay for the caregiver medical or litigation costs? Let HomeCare by M&D, LLC handle the stress for you…..

Question 2:

My parents only needs a couple of hours a day, 2-3 days a week. Can you help? And what if I don’t like the caregiver you send me?

Answer:

Our services are depending on your needs and your needs only. 2-3 hours, 1-2 days, monthly, again our services are tailored to your needs and your timetable.

We take great pride in our caregivers. We hire only the best possible caregivers. Trusting, dependable, compassionate, honorable, caring, and possesses common sense are a MUST in our caregiver. If by chance your personalities does NOT match, yes of course, we will send another caregiver that can bond with your parents. Remember, this is our livelihood, HomeCare by M&D, LLC aims to PLEASE!!!!

Question 3:

How soon can your service start?

Answer:

First we need to do a free assessment, your wants and needs and your “Care Plan”. After this determination, we must match a caregiver to your “Care Plan” and your timetable. If we have a match; the service can start immediately, otherwise usually 24-48 hours.

Amazing, compassionate caregivers

Magnolia and Dante and their entire team are amazing. They aren’t caregivers caregivers, they become family. Magnolia cared for my grandmother for many years. Recently she was called on to provide last minute. 24/7 hospice care for my grandfather. She put together a team on a moments notice and every single person who came through the doors was wonderful. Not only were they extremely competent in their jobs, they did their jobs with kindness and compassion and provided a dignified way for my grandfather to spend his final days. If you are looking for care for your family, look no further.
